This is one of my favorite things that I have
created. I love Strawberry Shortcake. The idea
for this outfit has been rolling around my brain for
a long while. I just imagined Strawberry
Shortcake and her posse out on String Cheese
tour! What would she be wearing? I think I
created something that she would approve of and
be fun to dance in.
This set is four pieces. The random red
patchwork skirt is serged and top stitched. All
the seams are flat so no itchy seams while you are
dancing. The apron is made of cotton muslin with
green swirly Seminole patchwork. The top is a
wrap around apron. It would look cute with or
without a shirt or camisole underneath. There are
small white polka dots that the camera had a hard
time picking up. There is also eyelet at the
bottom and around to the middle of the back.
The hat is made up of a pink strawberry calico
print. There is elastic in the back. This hat is
roomy enough to fit dreads. All the pieces would
look great on their own.
The skirt measures 39 inches long. The
drawstring waist opens up to 48 inches.
